When We Are Closed
The main surgery is closed between the hours of 18:00 and 08:30 Monday to Friday and at weekends. During these hours an emergency medical service is provided by the Belfast Health & Social Care Trust in Out-Of-Hour Centres which are available in each locality.
This service can be contacted directly by phoning 028 9079 6220. This number is also available during these times as a recorded message on the normal Bridges Family Practice telephone line.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
